Blackmama - I would go for a regular fence. The electric fence will still allow other dogs (and other undesirables) in to the yard. And I do not like the idea of shocking my little dogs. They could also ignore the shock and keep going, too! And then the collar may deter them from going back in the yard. Just my opinion...

I am needing to fence my backyard and am debating on the underground fencing, the regular fencing , or the new wireless. Not sure how exactly that works. I think the wireless and/or the electronic involves a collar that the little dog wears. Wonder if its too heavy or big for a small dog. Any thoughts/experiences would be greatly appreciated.
