Hi everyone...I haven’t been participating much in the group
because I’ve been so busy...most of the summer. My mom has been sick off and
on...she’s been in the hospital since last Friday. Not sure what all is going on
except her sodium is really low...and she’s anemic. When she went in last week
she was very weak. She’s doing better now. I hope they get to the root of the
problem. She was in the hospital in Feb too...one of the problems at that time
was also low sodium. All the tests they did ion her heart came back fine...she
had some tests on her lungs yesterday.
Tuesday I went to take my dogs out...and saw that my parents
car was gone...I heard a lot of police sirens...so I came back in the house to
turn on the police scanner...well...I heard that an elderly man passed out in
the grocery store about a block and a half from here...where my parents shop a
lot...I knew it was my dad! A few minutes later the police called...it was my
dad! They were going to take him to the hospital...but found out it was his
sugar...he’s a diabetic and his sugar had dropped to 39! Not sure what the
problem was...but it was low all day after that...I had a heck of a time
bringing it up! What a day!!! Dad is fine now...hopefully mom will be home
soon...some of you might remember that BOTH of my parents were in the hospital
in Feb...
We did have the Hawaiian Luau...it was a LOT of
fun...and I did take pictures...I just got them downloaded yesterday...I’ll try
to post them soon...we’ve had LOTS of family cookouts here this summer...and
LOTS of fun...
My 19 year old nephew had minor surgery
yesterday...and we found out he has to go to Cleveland,Ohio...for more
surgery....my brother in law was in the hospital...they took him from
work...they thought he was having a heart attack..he didn’t...but got another
heart stint.
On the BRIGHT side...Dave was promoted to
supervisor at his job! He’s had this job for less than 2 years...my one son
recently started working there too....my youngest son text me from work last
night...he also was promoted to supervisor...and got a $4.00 an hour raise! So
some things are really improving a lot here!
Sox...Peanut and Mooch are all fine...they
aren’t liking this cool... rainy weather we’ve been having lately though 
I’m very tired...so going to lay down for a
while...I have a lot to do later today...please don’t think I’m a “lurker”....I
don’t post too often...just been busy and
tired.
