Hi all,
I couple of weeks ago, I sent an email when I was told by my vet that she was
going to be passing away soon. But Nyala decided differently, when I took her
home from the vet after being diagnosed with Ataxia (not knowing where her legs
are in space), kidney failure and heart murmur. She started with eating baby
food and drinking pedialyte, then started to eat some canned kidney failure
diet and baby food. Now she is eating the canned food three to four times a
day, and she was at first not walking now she will walk across my driveway
without my assistance to take care of business and then back. I know that she
isn't going to live forever but she shows that the good loving care that
she receives at home is really worthwhile and that she is not ready to go yet.
I believe that she has surprised the vet too.
