I agree Mary, I have a fenced in backyard but I still take my two little ones out with leashes because I also saw a hawk flying around my backyard chasing birds. Then he perched up on the electric wire and just watched around. I was watching him from my kitchen window, my dogs were safe on the couch but I would not like to know what might have happened if they were out without a leash.
