When my smaller CHI won't eat I have a tube of VItacal from DoctorsFoster&Smith (online) or available in stores under other names. It's a toothpaste like consistency and is a dietary supplement for dogs,cats,kittens & pups formulated by Vets. It stimulates their appetite while keeping them nourished with high calorie packed with vitamins. I just use my finger and put some in his mouth. He gets seizure if he doesn't eat.
