It sounds to me like a good plan.  Being happy with your team of doctors is the 
most important thing.  Sounds like you have found a good surgeon who is also 
aware of his patient's feelings and other health issues.  Now if you can get 
some relief and rest and gain strength all will be much better.    Hugs   MJ
