This year I'd forgotten all about the Halloween 
black cat until I stepped off that elevator and 
found this cat at my feet & staring directly at 
me.  Yes, eerie.  However, after 8 years, it's somehow comforting, too.

The cat (well a black cat anyhow) was then home 
when I got home.  Again eerie.  Now, I wonder if 
the black cat will suddenly disappear after 
Halloween as it has in previous years.
