Yes, but I’m not too nuts about feeding raw/cooked chicken because of some of
diseases chicken carries. I will only allow my dogs to chew on the big cow
knuckle bones.

The vet that I had many years ago always told me no real bones of any size to
any size dog--that a lab can splinter the bones and swallow them and cause
bleeding in stomach. I have always been told--no chicken bones and would never
do that--I brush my chis teeth with doggie toothpaste and brush or tak my
fingers and massage the gums.

Just my opinion.

Now I need a question answered. My vet mentioned giving my chi’s raw chicken
necks and wings to help clean their teeth. Okay, is that safe? I worry about
broken sharp points on the bones. I’ve always gotten big beef bones for them
to chew on, but they could not break the bones.
