thanks for the encouraging word, Joan <G>    Benji is our bouncy girl....  Tilly is more laid back....  yet, she
is the one who plays.    Interesting.   Benji is getting instructions from Tilly in every way.   Having them together
has made a big difference for Benji.    They are just so much fun <G>     mj

Mandy…my neighbor’s dog…never played until she stayed here when Dolly was five months old and wanted her to play.  Mandy actually started playing with the toys, and I was nervous because I didn’t know Judy well enough to know if she didn’t want her to play.  Judy was so excited that Mandy was playing with toys.  She is an expert now!

Sometimes it just has to be introduced with living instructions!

Give Benji some time…watching Tilly may just be what she is doing now, and someday she will go from no playing to playing in fast motion.

oh how wonderful... I'm delighted for Hazel and for you.    We've had Benji  about 18 months and Tilly about 8 months now.  Tilly has always played but Benji doesn't seem to get it at all.   Of course, she was about 5 when we got her and she had never had toys.  She does play with an empty bag from time to time...  she will play tug with Tilly  but she really doesn't play with the toys.

 

Anyway, I'm just so happy for you and Hazel...   mj
