When that happened to Paco, he was so bad they thought he might have stomach 
cancer.  But turns out it was severe food allergies.  Usually it is the protein 
that is the trigger.  The Vet switched him to something he had never eaten 
before..which was Venison.  We have a prescription diet of Venison and potato 
with Venison chews for treats.  Nothing else ever..He has been fine now for 5 
years.

Hello,
Our long haired Chi, Scout, seems to be having occasional bouts of Irritable 
Bowel Syndrome(loose, mucous(y) stools). Does anyone have any suggestions on 
how to deal with this and keep him regular? I am trying to rule out a food 
trigger. (I feed him Solid Gold kibble and a bit of Blue Buffalo canned. I do 
use Miraclezyme, an exzyme/probiotic supplement.
