I just like them due to there size. When I put them down for Dani while I am at
work, I have to put 3 or 4 of the wal mart ones. When I had the few my  friend
gave me of the adult ones, they were big enough to put just one down.

Thanks Beth...I'll do some shopping around.  I buy the ones that say 'OUT' on
them at Walmart - they're thick enough for her little nickel size pees - but I
do notice it spreads out if it's a large amount of urine.  I like that gel idea
- gonna have to find those.
THANKS...Lynda

Not too long ago, PetSmart was selling them by a box of 100.  Prior to that, I
bought them in packs of 100 from entirelypets.com.  However, there are
different prices for different grades. The ones that I get are the
SimpleSolution that say 2x absorbnt. When my neighbors got their two dogs (each
were 7 months and still in a pet store cage) I asked if she had any...they
hadn't thought of that.  I have her four of mine and when she got some for her,
I don't know what kind they were...when Dolly or Desi peed on them, it spread
outward and after one time, they had to be thrown away.  The ones that I have
absorb downward and has some sort of gel.  If I am in the bathroom when they go
potty on them, I might smell the urine for about 5 minutes and then the smell
is gone too.

Hi Beth...
I think that the adult pads are pretty expensive compared to the puppy pads.
If your dogs are already trained for puppy pads, then they may not have a
problem.  For those just starting to paper train, the puppy pads have a scent
that the dog recognizes (although we can't smell it) so you would have to rub a
paper towel or something in your dog's urine and smear it on the pad for them
to go.  There is also a spray that you can use...when I got Dolly they said to
spray it in the part of the yard that I wanted her to go potty...she didn't
pick that up because she wanted to explore and she would go potty
outside...just didn't know enough to ask to go outside when she had to go potty.
I bought puppy pads in bulk...now Dolly & Desi go outside more than inside.
That is OK with me.  When I put one down (actually I have two in the master
bathroom, each of mine will go and do a little urine on them - think it is a
marking telling the other one that he/she cannot use the other one.

You may want to try looking online for incontinent supplies and might come upon
a website where nursing homes order from...the price may be a lot less when you
buy them in bulk.

I know allot of you here use puppy pads for your babies as I do. I normally buy
my at Wal Mart or Sams club. A friend of mine gave me some Adult pads in a gag
gift for my 50th birthday. They are much nicer in size and thickness.
She only gave me 4 of them, but I liked them much better. Anyone try them? Have
a good source for getting them?
I was going to try Amazon first?

Beth
