Hi Lynda, Caramella is a 6 month old Papillon. My other 3 year old male Pap doesn't have the tearing at all. My long coat chi dani & my tiny chi chassis don't, but Chassis mom did when she was alive, but not as bad as Caramella. Little Chassis would always wash her mama's eyes for her every morning. Caramella doesn't seem bothered at all, but they are constantly wet.

My vet says I can use a damp warm wash cloth to wipe her face daily - but she hates that more than anything - so I do it occassionally. DO CHI'S TEAR like that?
