I rescued a chi from craqigs list. The owner was psycho. She allowed this 3.5
pound chi to breed twice. Once with another chi that was 8 pounds, the other
was a chinese crested at 9 pounds. Said she was scared and had to get "rid of
her". She was afraid she would die during delivery, although she was laughing
about it. She said "she really likes sex!" And them proceeded to tell me how
she was "nailed". Again....laughing the whole time.

I gave her $100. Kept her long enough to get her weight up to 5.25 pounds, then
gave her to our local no kill as I couldn't afford the c-section. BUT she was
out of harms way. The rescue did am emergency spay and found no babies but a
tummy full of infection.

The concern WAS the size of the male plus the fact she was soooo small. From
all of my research during this time, I found 100% of the opinion
was....c-section....as she could die during birthing. Luckily, she wasn't
pregnant. Small chis should be spayed to prevent this from happening. Their
life is more important than producing.

I hope your chi is safe. I hope she survives this. Positive energy coming your
way :)
