Hi everyone...well...it’s THAT time of year again...I just wanted to wish all
my FRIENDS and their FAMILIES a VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I have to much to be
thankful for this year that I can’t even list it all...first is my family...I
am VERY blessed...we are all still here and doing well...my parents are both in
their late 70s...mom will be 80 in Jan...so that to me is a major blessing! My
husbands job turned out to be a decent one...although it’s dangerous....in July
they made him a supervisor. The last several years...before this one were
pretty rough...lots of medical problems in the family...my dads major
stroke...my daughter who was in ICU for a month and actually died twice...my
granddaughter who was also in ICU because part of a tree fell on her...my
husband lost his job...we lost our truck...his tools...etc...etc...but then he
got the job he has now and things turned around! He bought me a PT Cruiser in
Feb...that I LOVE...and he has a nice truck...we’ve been able to help my sister
and brother in law out some....my brother in law had a slight heart attack 3
years ago....my sister had a massive heart attack a little over 2 years
ago...everyone has now recovered....ANYWAY...I could go on and on about the
things I’m thankful for and all my blessings .....all the four legged “kids”
have been healthy...life has been good!
BUT...one thing I’m really thankful for is the cat named “Pepper” that I
rescued a couple of months ago...some of you will remember me posting about
her...she was caught in a leg trap....her legs were broke...in more than one
place...so was her pelvis...fur and skin was missing from her legs...she had a
few set backs...one was pus just gushing from holes that would develop out of
no where...one in her side...one in her throat...then she got a really bad eye
infection...poor baby. She’s a fighter! I always tell her...as long as she has
the will power and I have a little knowledge...she’ll make it...well...I’m VERY
happy to tell you that she’s doing GREAT! She walks...a little unsteady....she
can run...and I had to put the top on her cage because she climbed out of it.
She still has some healing to do...and I think she’ll always be a little
crippled...but other than that she’s healthy! And best of all...she’s found a
forever home! I could never let her go now...and she’ll never be outside
again...my cats aren’t allowed outside at all...too many nut jobs out there! As
you can see...I have a LOT to be thankful for...oh yeah...I also have my
“Chihuahua friends”
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE~~~HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!
