Emiliano was trained to use a litter box at eight weeks old. He used the
box for 2 yrs, then, no matter how much I scrubbed it, it was smelly. So I
threw it away and bought a new one - well, it was not the same as the old
one and he refused to use it. Then, I tried a patch (that looks like
grass), no luck, the tray/frame that holds the puppy pads, no luck. However,
he
will use the puppy pads without the holder. The litter box was great, it
didn't leak and he positioned himself where he never sprayed out of it. I
continue to look for one the same shape and color as the first one but so
far I haven't found one.

You must have your little ones litter or pad trained. I can't get mine to
use the puppy patch or the pads. Does anyone ever use the dog litter?
I've been thinking about giving it a try. With the winter time approaching
(or here in some cases), I need to get her to stay indoors.

Been snowing here quite a bit too. I’ve got about a foot now. One of my
babies loves the snow, hard to get her to come back inside. The others?
No way!. My littlest one tried going off the back deck and got buried in a
snowdrift. He won’t even go near the door now.

We are getting snow. It has been snowing since around midnight (it’s now
7:30 a.m.).
Chino Valley, AZ
SEVERE WEATHER ALERT
Forecast Details:
Snow showers in the morning will give way to a mixture of rain and snow
for the afternoon. Cold. High 36F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of
precip 40%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.

Boy are they nuts! We already have nearly 3” of snow. It’s only 30
degrees now (7:30 a.m.)

My Chihuahuas won’t be going outside today. Two of the mixes with longer
coats will have fun playing in the snow.

My cats, including the new cats, Ruth and Esther, have been looking out
the windows in amazement. Maybe the young ones have never seen snow. I know
Dark Angel, Peter and Paul have seen a lot of snow. Still they seem
mesmerized by the falling white stuff.

I personally don’t really care a lot. I’m retired and I will just stay
home and watch it snow. I did do a laundry this morning. I use indoor
drying racks (dryers are too expensive). I put fresh sheets on my bed. They
have use purple Iris blooms all over them. Very cheering. I put the “
Thunder run” comforter on. It is the one with horses dashing thru some water.

It is beautiful and also very warm.
