My Male Chug (Chihuahua/Pug) did that when he got excited...but as he got older it stopped..he was around 1 when it stopped...I would do my best to pet and play with her on a floor that is washable...if you have a fenced in yard open the door and let her out before you pet her..that's what I did and he quit doing it.
