Thank you. I think sometimes I go along and am preoccupied with all that I have to do, or having to be sleeping from my meds or being sick. I see something and the first time it is just so cute but then when it is repeated, I see it and it is sometimes ‘been there, did that.’
Desi Lou has be a little stinkeroo the last couple of days. I was taking them to the vet for Desi’s shots and when he came out of the laundry room he jumped right in the stroller. I asked him to jump out but he just looked and stayed there. I put Dolly in the booster seat and was wondering why he was doing that when he knew we were going in the car. Well, he is a smart little thing and I think he decided that he didn’t want to stand on the cold garage floor while I was putting Dolly in the car…she always gets everything first since she cost me $500 because she was starting to mark on the carpet, but also stopping every house on a walk to pee. Found out it was because I have to do everything with her first. So Dolly is always the first one that I put in the booster seat…he knows that and didn’t want to stand on the cold floor. There are wheels turning in his head all the time. When we got back, I was taking off their vest harnesses and Dolly laid down in the booster seat and was moving her front paws to the part of her nose that is closest to her eyes. Her ears went back like little pigtails (both of mine do that when they are very happy) and then Desi laid down next to her, turning a little so that I could tickle both of their bellies. It was just so cute and I told them that I am giving them new Christmas names…I would call them ‘Comfort’ and ‘Joy’. Of course, Dolly has to be Joy…but then I have to consider that when I buy a new toy for each of them…Desi will always go and take the pink one. It happens over and over again. I don’t know how dogs see things, but maybe he likes toys that are light in color as opposed to a brown or dark blue.
