Dolly has what I would call the snorts. She has the respiratory issues and when she starts with the congestion she actually kind of snorts and then as I call it – she gurgles. When she is like that I just step her up to an entire Atarax and it usually gets under control in a day or two.
Have you taken your dog to the vet and she has been diagnosed with collapsing trachea? If not, she may be just suffering from respiratory allergies. I think its a common problem in toy breeds, we all just kind of live with it unless it affects quality of life. Hope Peso doesn't have a bad time with it. _____ From: "peso2545" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, December 15, 2011 10:35:35 AM Subject: [Chihuahuas] Collapsing Trachea Hello My name is Sarah and I have a 2 year old long hair chihuahua named peso, He was diagnosed with Collapsing Trachea and I feel like a bomb has dropped.2 years ago I lost my 2 year old short hair female and I am wondering if anyone eles has a chihuahua with this condition?
