Dolly has what I would call the snorts. She has the respiratory issues and
when she starts with the congestion she actually kind of snorts and then as I
call it – she gurgles. When she is like that I just step her up to an entire
Atarax and it usually gets under control in a day or two.

Have you taken your dog to the vet and she has been diagnosed with collapsing
trachea? If not, she may be just suffering from respiratory allergies.

Hi Sarah
My chihuahua has a chronic case of the snorts
Both my toy poodles have exhibited signs of a trachea problem, but they are
ten and six years old now and still going strong. I think its a common problem
in toy breeds, we all just kind of live with it unless it affects quality of
life. Hope Peso doesn't have a bad time with it.
