Looks like Monster is taking care of you really good! I remember when I had carpal tunnel surgery. One week with my arm and hand bandaged and then when the doctor told me that I had to be able to move my thumb all the way across the palm of my hand to the base of the little finger, it seemed to me that he was wanting me to fly to the moon. Therapy really does help, and it is amazing how much our bodies swell up from surgery and make us feel so inadequate when we try to use our hands like we have for almost all of our life.
Continue the good work, and Dolly & Desi said to tell Monster that it is always good to stay with mommies when they don’t feel so good. Got my splint off Thursday and got a new one that I can take off and started physical therapy. My fingers and wrist were so weak and shaky when she took it off. It felt so weird. They are getting stronger every day though with these exercises. Here's some pics of my new splint, stitches and Monster and the last one is my pillow pet owl that my mom got me to keep my arm elevated. I call her my million dollar baby, because she cost us so much when she developed a small growth on her foot, that turned out to be cancer and made it necessary to have a toe removed. That was a couple of years ago and she has been fine ever since. Worth every penny! Gloria
