Hey Mare, how are you? We were talking about the chat room and several persons asked how it worked. I told them we had to select a day and time to meet there so we could chat. At the bottom of your email/message, you have to click on "visit your group", when it takes you there, then you go to the top left hand side and "sign in" on Yahoo, that will take you back to the group page, you then scroll about mid-page on the left hand side and click on "chat", that will take you to the chat room, it will announce that you have joined the room and tell you who else is there, then at the bottom, you type your message, hit "enter" on your keyboard and it will type out your message on the screen. Others can join in and you talk back and forth. But to make it work, several people have to agree to meet on a day and time, to ensure others will be there to chat with you. I think we ought to try it..... Gloria

The iBand at Christmas The guys at this church have "pulled out all the stops" with their iPads, iPod Touch, and iPhones to bring us all some Christmas cheer. What you will hear is the entire band coming from apps they downloaded onto their electronic "instruments". Bass synth, drums, strumming acoustic guitar, lead electric guitar, organ, piano keyboard, a shaker which uses motion and shock sensors, hand bells, and just when you think they have pulled every possible t rick out of the book, the singer comes in, and uses the Auto Tune app to cap off the show. ____________________________________ Email correspondence to and from this address is subject to the North Carolina Public Records Law and may be disclosed to third parties by an authorized State official.
