I had thought of the girlfriend part, since he wasn't to be neutered until 
after he got over heartworm treatment -  but not letting shepherd follow - but 
then he's not trained for that and I don't have anything particular with the 
scent.  It's been 32 hours now - he was always hungry and didn't even get 
breakfast before he ran - would think he would come back if he wanted to and 
could.  I've really never seen anything like this!
