Oh Carolyn, that is such wonderful news!! God surely has Blessed you! So very happy for you!! I believe that all of those people who contributed to getting her well again, as well as the person who paid the adoption fee will also be blessed for there wonderful kindness. What a story little Emma Rose has!
In Yahoo, to attache a pic, open for a new email, click 'attachments' and you may have to click 'attach files' in the black box again, and that should open your file, then click on your pic and click 'open' it should show it as an attachment with the name of your file. If you run your Yahoo email through another provider, then most emails always have an paper clip icon and says attachment. Just click on it so your files open and click on your pic and click 'open'. All emails work the same way. Congratulations and enjoy that Baby! Can't wait to see her picture! Hugs, Peggy -------Original Message------- From: C.M. Her leg was broken in two different places, and the previous owners hoped it would heal itself. Of course it didn't. The vet took in the dog and then my rescue group took her and did a fund raiser. They raised the discounted price (!) of $1500 to pay to fix her leg. She had four pins inserted to heal the bones and she's had two casts since then. Long story short, next Tuesday, hopefully she'll get this second cast off and have only a soft one (her third). The "back story" about her and me is briefly - my friend was fostering her. I was at her house visiting and admiring her foster dogs when she asked me if I wanted to foster Emma Rose. "Heck yes" I said through tears, as she put her in my arms. This was two days after my deceased son's birthday, so I attach significance to that... This little dog took control of my aching heart immediately. She helped me get through all the "firsts" of my beloved son being gone (birthday, Christmas, New Year's). Emma Rose made me laugh out loud and yes, I lavished her with hugs and kisses. With that cast on, she needed me; I needed to help her. As a foster mom, my job was to care for her while she healed, then put her up for adoption. Well, I turned into what they call a Foster Failure. I didn t want to give up the dog. They quoted me a discounted adoption fee of $300, Umm. I can't afford to do that. So I heard today that somebody donated the adoption fee so that Emma Rose could be mine. This anonymous person was touched by the "circumstances" of our situation and wanted me to have Emma Rose. Nobody has ever done anything like that for me. It leaves me speechless. How do you say thank you for something like this? So this little cutie is now mine. I still can't believe it. I don't know how to attach her picture.
