Well,he was eating OK (wanted to eat all the time and frantic when the food came out - had been that way from the start). Other than heartworms with no little ones found in blood and no symptoms the only other thing had been hookworms which were treated. He didn't act sick but had lost a tad of weight - in fact the night before he left I gave him extra food. The tension seemed to come with the puppy. He certainly could RUN fast without difficulty. I keep lookin gup expecting him to see him outside waiting! Will call shelter tomorrow and hope I can get an answer there - we have gone up and down road looking in yards, I have a flyer to post (our road is only a mile long and then you come to a highway but two dead end not county maintained roads and some people are so secluded you can't even see their house) - had to get printer to work.
