Oh yes a treat after a potty is a must - I think sometimes when I take them out 
they don't really need to 'pee' - they just give me a pitty pee so they get a 
cookie .  Charlotte is so tiny - going out in freezing weather and inches of 
snow just didn't seem right...that's when the ladies here gave me the puppy pad 
idea.  Charlotte loves being outside and will do her business - but not when it 
too chi chilly...(my other 2 dogs look at the puppy pads with disgust and I can 
just see a thought bubble above their heads 'OMG pottying in the house - who 
does she think she is - that's so gross'.  

When Charlotte goes on the pad and I'm not 'right there' watching - she runs to 
me to tell me she went  - and then everyone heads to the cookie jar...(wait 
who's training who here?)... LOL...
