Joan those are very good suggestions, thank you. If I were to put jelly in
it, I think I will need to put a big sheet of plastic over the carpeting
first.

When you get a chance can you see what the protein% is for the cookie that
you get that covers the everlasting ball? That looks interesting too, but
when I Google for the cookie part, it doesn't give the actual ingredients of
it, not even on Petco.

Can you mix a little Karo Syrup, Jelly, or even a tiny bit of wet food (you
can even just put a few of her kibbles in water for a minute) and then mix
all that with some ground treats. I know that like most of us, we don’t
really want our chis to be chewing those rawhide bones, but if had something
to mold the gooey mixture around to keep it firm. I know that when I got
Dolly the pet store gave me some stick kind of kong treats. It took Dolly a
long time (she was a tiny puppy) to chew that to get it eaten…but I don’t
know if it has rosemary in it, and also once she chewed and licked the part
that was sticking out, I had to push a pen or something through the hole on
the other end to make it come out. If you have a wooden dowel from a craft
store that is thing enough, you could mold a gooey mixture and then freeze
it, then insert so that the other end of the dowel is sticking out so that
you can use it again. But the big problem is what she can and can’t
tolerate.
I have the everlasting treat balls for Dolly & Desi. They love them…too
much. They can’t chew the stuff, have to lick or gnaw. They do last a long
time, but you would have to be home when you give it to her. I have to
physically take them away from Dolly & Desi – and so I don’t give them to
them very often. They do make mine very thirsty though.
Have you tried googling ‘homemade kong treats’? that might prove helpful
also.

What would be a very low protein and low fat sticky food that I can put
inside a kong for Gigi? Treats, carrots, apples, just roll out to easily,
so I am looking for something that is sticky, like peanut butter is, to keep
Gigi busy for a few minutes. Any ideas?
