Susie, that is like my sweety, her right rear leg is a little askew. She never
complains about it and I was going to have surgery done but the vet said that
she could live just fine her whole life without the surgery. I was sort of glad
to hear that because the surgery is so expensive. She is almost 6 now and is
fine. She does play and stuff but I just don't let her overexert herself or
jump.

My oversized Chi has  l.p. has thrown it out a
few times but is still gong strong w/o surgery. I've tried to keep his weight
down to avoid stress on his leg and we don't take real long walks. So far so
good..he's going on 12 yrs old. When he walks he's out of alignment (that's
what
we call it) his back rear left leg is
askew.
