Here in North Las Vegas, I had some very beautiful angel wind chimes. Within two years all the pieces had fallen off because the sun rots the cord. Every time the strong winds came (very often) they would bang into my kitchen window. I bought some little stakes for the ground that have windchimes, so I have to put them out there very soon, because I do enjoy the sound.

Carolyn Hi, My son, David will be gone one year on February 22. I'd like to memorialize him in a "permanent" way and am asking you what you think I can do. Each monthly anniversary, I release helium-filled balloons (one with a "love note" stuck inside it), knowing that it will get through the "atmosphere" (!??) and almost all the way to heaven; then he can reach down and grab it!! In my mind, it happens... So, to mark his one year, can you give me suggestions as to how I should commemorate it? Thanks so much.
