Pam I finally got to the first page of the blog where Pippin's journey begins with treatment. Very interesting story, and what a beautiful girl she turned out to be!! She was in worse of a health condition then Tino. I did notice they gave her Ivemectin injections along with a special shampoo and the dip and she survived it all, and they started it all right away, even with her being underweight and having a heart murmur and something else. That is so encouraging!
Not only that but she slept and ate and played with the other dogs, so I guess there isn't anything to worry about after all. All very encouraging for Tino! Thanks Valerie for the link. I found it to be very informative. Here's the first page of the link to make things faster to read. I think it was on page 3 that showed the shampoo and the treatment. http://pippilove.tumblr.com/page/15 -------Original Message------- From: Valerie Mockett Date: 2/16/2012 7:41:35 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] (unknown) Pam please check this out and everyone else that loves dogs. Did she have any side effects?? Some of the treatments I have been reading about sound pretty brutal to their systems.
