How interesting!

When I am sick.sometimes before I know it, Dolly & Desi stick to me like
glue. It didn't matter to them if I spent 23 hours in bed.they were there.
The only time that they weren't was when I got up to eat.they would take
that time to go outside potty and, in the daytime, catch some rays on the
patio. When it was off to bed for me.they were right there like glue. Both
of them are purebred Chihuahuas. Perhaps your Pug and Chug are the alphas
and so they were the protectors and the others might have been sent away
through their silent communication.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] I've noticed something

I've been sick now for almost 2 weeks. During that time I noticed
something.

In the world there are givers and there are takers.

While I've been sick I noticed very little differenced in the behavior of my
2 purebred Chihuahuas. They still want to be babied, carried about, etc.
If I could not or would not do what they wanted they went away and ignored
me.

The pug, and the chug were very different. They stayed close, spent
literally hours staring at me and if I had trouble breathing they would lick
my face and definitely act very worried. Even when I was too sick to pet or
talk to them, they always stayed close and watched me with those big sweet
eyes.

I'm not saying this is completely true in the world. Only in my world. But
when even my closest friends (living here) and members of my church did not
notice I was missing, my 2 little pugs sure knew momma was sick.
