His fur is in pretty rough condition, dry and no shine.  The camera makes it
look better than it does.  It will take a couple of months before the new food
etc..makes a difference.  But at least he is clean.  I don't think he ever had
a bath..certainly not in the shelter.  The County Vet didn't even give him a
bath before they neutered him.  With the mange and the yeast infection and the
just plain dirt, he smelled terrible.  He still has some yeast infection and
seriously needs his medicated shampoo every three days or he gets very stinky.

I just love Tino's very white fur. Is it soft? Liza's coat is so soft she is
slippery to pick up. It's like velvet soft. So Tino's skin is from problems
from the Mange? I never saw Liza in her bad condition but looking at Tino when
you first got him gave me an idea what she must have looked like. So nice Tino
is coming along. Tea tree oil is great.I shampooed Liza with a shampoo called
Mutts Know Best a natural brand. It has aloe in it. I've only washed her 2
times. I think it feels good on her skin. She gets a little dry from the pellet
stove heat.

Please keep posting pictures of your lovely boy. Sound like he is getting
excellent care with you. A very lucky dog and glad he is over the hump.
