Poor Tino, he has so much to learn yet, hopefully when he does get
acclimated to the world, he will feel less nervous. It will probably take a
lot of time for him to get use to this big world. Living in a shed isn't
much different then living in a PM cage and never even putting your paws on
grass. Some PM dogs get over their fear within there own environment, but
change that environment and they are totally spooked. Others that were taken
out daily and to many different environments do get over it. It all depends
on the dogs personality and how much acclimating is given to them.

His is more the pull towards his previous pack and Alpha. Since he was kept
in a shed, he is very uncomfortable out in the open. I took him over to my
gfs and put him in a harness and lead and he was very spooky being out in
the open somewhere strange,

This is something that I worry about too. Liza is very obedient and comes
when she is called. But one day after I got her she slipped out the door
while I was getting my other dog out. I found her out back and she came to
me. Now she has an ID tag along with her rabies tag. So she jingles. I'm
training her to sit and stay when I take my other dog out. She does have a
small indoor outdoor kennel and as soon as the ground is unfrozen i will put
down mesh wiring around the chain link panels so she can't dig out. I have
no idea if she is a digger or not. I also want to get her microchipped. She
is never off leash when I take her outside to go potty.

I'm not sure why they do it except maybe it is separation anxiety or they
just want to roam. Liza lived in the woods before she was found and when I
take her for walks, she is very excited and is always stopping when she
hears noises in the woods. It's like her old stomping ground. She acts like
she would love to run into the woods. I keep reminding her (on leash) that
the woods nearly killed her. I'd just give it time for Tino and make the
fence dog proof. At least that's what I have to do for sure. Just never know

do I belong?? Tino is definetely that. We have had to Tino proof every
little raised spot or small hole in the fencing as he is determined to make
his way out. And he will even try when you are standing there looking at
him.
