I know you would not want to hurt any animal Mare, but you have the two meds mixed up. It's best that each of us research before we post so as not to make mistakes when it comes to meds., which is why I like to always include links to Vet advise so the person can read and decide for themselves.
Anywhere I researched for Tyelenol it said that it was toxic to dogs, for that matter there has been a lot of concern for people taking acetaminophen, which is what Tyelenol is, for any extended period of time because it also causes problems. Parents are warned not to give it to kids when they have the flu too because it has an adverse effect with the flu virus and has even caused deaths in infants.
