My experiences with dogs and hotel rooms have not been positive. Mine get very stressed, even when I am with them, barking at every noise and thump. I did not leave mine by themselves but I don't think it would have gotten any better..lol..I get a housesitter when I go and leave them in their familiar surroundings with company to mush them..

Was thinking about taking Lucy, my 2 year old Chi with me. I will be staying in a hotel room and would be taking along her bedding and some toys. My problem is I am worried that leaving her in a strange hotel room for long hours will not be good for her. If I leave her for 5 or 6 hours, would that be not too good for her?
