Judy, Do you have homeowners coverage in place for the new house? I would not want to travel without it on one house or the other. Most policies give you some coverage while you are in transit, so make sure one or the other is in force. Just curious - Did you travel up to see the new place? Or did you rely on someone else to scope it out for you?
