Just a quick note to let you all know that Dave came through the surgery with
NO problems at all! It was 4 hours long...and they did a double bypass...one by
a blockage of 80-90% and one by the aneurysm. He has an IV in both
arms...running 9 different kinds of meds. He should be off the vent tomorrow
(Friday). He has drainage tubes in everywhere...I’ve learned so much! There
will be a nurse that comes to the house for 3 times after he gets out of the
hospital....as early as Monday or Tuesday. What a LONG day...In the last 6 days
I’ve had about 10 to 12 hours of sleep. I almost passed out at the hospital
last night.....Better days are ahead! Ok...gonna mop the floors real quick and
get to bed...have to meet the doctors around 8 in the morning....the hospital
is 7 minutes from our house...timed it when our daughter was on life support
there a few years back...THANK YOU ALL FOR THE PRAYERS AND GOOD THOUGHTS! You
guys are the best! Please continue to pray for a speedy...healthy
recovery...Thanks again!
