I  live in the house with my mom  she's had  surgery several months ago and has health problems she's a widow and is 79, I don't think she should live alone  because she falls sometimes and can't get to her feet. when she does fall..she liked Jane-Jane and is sad too.  Robert.

Loosing them is such a heartbreak and more so when we go through such a traumatic experiences like you did. If you don't mind me asking, you mentioned that you lived on 186 acres, so why did you have to drive that far and bury him at your mom's house, instead of on your own land? Just curious...

My heart really feels for you!
My Chachi was 13 years old. We had been out for the day it was a cool summer night. When we got home I let him out as I always did and waited for him to come in. He did not ask to come in and we had a big enclosed porch that he would often stay on at night cause it was cool there so I figured that is what he chose to do. I did not look for him that night as he had spent many nights on the cool of the porch. I went out the next morning to get him and feed him as I did many times before. He was not there. I looked around the house he was not there. We lived on 186 acres of land so I could or did not think anyone would have picked him us he never went to strangers. We searched for three days, I cried and cried he was the one who saw me through allot of bad things in my life. He helped to rasie a bottle fed kitten we named Shanda. We never could find him. Then on the forth day my husband found him, he was in some boxes by the house and he had died. I was beside myself. He was not there when I looked before he must of crawled in one and we just did not see him when we moved the boxes around. I held him and cried and rocked for what seemed like hours. My husband finally took him from me and told me I had to let go. He laid a blanket in a box and laid Chachi on top and covered him up. The next day I left for Amarillo 200 miles away to go bury him at my Mom and Dads.
My Mom said he must of known how bad this would hurt me so he went off to dies to save me from the hurt. I guess they know more then we think they do. I had up until 3 years ago 5 generations of Chi pups that belong to Chachi blood line. The last one to go was Betty and she was 15 years old when she died. Whitetoes her Uncle was 21 when he went.
So keep looking as I am sure you will find her some where do not give up hope.

I  don't want to and I can't right now. and my mother says she don't know what else to do it's been 2 days  since we last saw her in the house. and I know I sound like a broken record but neither she or myself  let Jane-Jane out Wednesday  morning.  Jane never would go out when Mom opened the door the only door we use to go in and out. I  just came in from searching the cornfield next to the house. mom says to be careful watch for snakes and don't get too hot  it's 90 degrees outside.  if she died I'd still like to find her and bury her by her mother. if she's somewhere in this house her body will eventually start decomposing  and we should smell it, unfortunately that may be the only hope of finding her body. I just want to have closure one way or another.  Robert
