Robert I think she left because she knew she was going to die. That was her last act of love for you. She tried to spare you the pain of watching her die and she did ! I found what was left of her out in the wooded area behind the house. her body was badly decayed she was mostly skeleton but I could ID her by the hair that was still on her body just a skull was left of her head no ears nothing no legs. her tail was just a small bony thing with little hair on it. I'm sad but I wrapped her up in her blanket she slept on sometimes then put her in a plastic bag and buried her right by her mother Lacy. Thank you all for your good thoughts, kind words and prayers.
