I have the old stains coming up hard and black. I did read on the Folex Industrial Strength that it takes away pet stains. I would trust that because it has removed many other stains from house carpet but also the car mats, etc. I love Folex. I think that the big problem comes when the stain is so deep that the cleaners can't get all the way down, and then it raises as it molds or mildews or something.
