I don't post here often but I read all your stories. I've learned so much and
cried and laughed and anyway, I hate doing this but I have a big favor to ask.
There is a small business contest going on, if our store gets 250 votes we can
move to the next round which is one round closer to winning some money. I'm
sorry to ask. I know you don't know me very well because I am quiet but my
chihuahuas, Charlie and Violet, go to work with us every day. Charlie has
brought so much joy to so many people that come into our store. We've tried to
help out everyone we've been able to, employees who've been in a bind, dog
rescues, even giving candy/spices/tea to customers when they've hit a rough
spot and couldn't afford on their own for themselves or to give as gifts.
Trouble is, we tend to do this quietly. My husband this week said he's tired,
money is tight, we work 80 hours a week, deal with so much that if we were cold
hearted we wouldn't even be
bothered by. He said 'why are we doing this, no one ever does the same for us'
and I pointed out to him that one of the reasons we do it and do it quietly is
because it's the right thing to do.

I don't expect us to get 250 votes, or to win any money. I just would like to
cheer him up a little with getting a few more votes than our handful of
facebook friends can. Please, I'm sorry to bother you all and ask this but one
thing I've learned is that Chihuahua people are amazing, wonderful folk, even
for dog people. I hope you all can forgive me for being such a brat and asking
so much and please accept my deepest thanks for voting if you can.
