Sending again as I didn't see it go through. Average protein should be 25-27% and fat should be 14-16% for most couch potatoe dogs. I have always preferred a good chicken based kibble because it is more digestible then beef and pork, specially if a dog has a sensitive digestive track. Pork and rice works harder on a dogs system, which is why you don't see many dog foods having the main ingredient as pork. I looked at yours and the first ingredient is Pork, then Rice, then Barley.Protein 24% and fat 14%. The first 3 ingredients determine the quality of any food. The other thing with Gigi is that it was very hard to find a good natural food that doesn't contain Rosemary, or Rosemary extract, as that can cause a dog that is prone to seizures to have more of them. So for me I don't buy any foods or treats that have Rosemary in them, just to play it safe, although Princess was on a food and treats with it in and had no issues, so it all depends on the dogs system.
