I plan to try this one on Sabrina, will try it and let you know if she likes it. Sabrina is my chi that I have to syringe feed, she will not eat on her own.

Here is what I raise puppies on along with the Nutri-cal occasionally.
Boil one chicken...allow to cool and remove the meat.
Add one large can PLAIN pumpkin
Add one large can VEG-ALL canned vegetables
Add two whole eggs
Add one large can canned Sweet Potatoes
Mix all this stuff up with enough of the Chicken broth to make a 'mush'.
Save your chicken broth you have left over for a good drink for your chi.
I have never found a dog that did not adore this stuff and puppies so very
well on it.
Keep Refrigerated!
Feed three to four times daily.
The pumpkin preserves bowel integrity...no loose stools.
The sweet potatoes provide adequate glucose intake to keep a chi's blood
sugar from plummeting.
The veggies and meat provide nutritional support!
So Wendy if you want to try it...there it is.
Your hubby could probably mix it up for you?
Take Care!
