Sounds good to me. But this is a holiday weekend and for all the shelter dogs I really, really, hate Fridays before a holiday weekend because those are the biggest euth days, because they are short handed. Which is so frustrating because you can get more people to go to a shelter on a holiday weekend then you can during the week when they are working.....it is a dumber then dumb way they do things!! You can tell it gets me mad, eh Mare?!
Anyway, maybe you can keep trying to call them tomorrow starting at 7:30 am, they may only have one or two people there so it will take them a long time to answer the phone. It also says that some of them are boarding at a vet, which is good news, because that means some one donated the fee and they got pulled from the shelter, and are boarding while waiting for a rescue to come and get them out. But the rescues can only do that if they either have the room or are guaranteed an adoptee/foster that has been checked out. Mare are you a licensed foster? Do you know of any rescues in KS that could pull and deliver to you? Either way, try calling and get as much info as you can and take it from there.....lots of luck!!
