Someone spent some time training her. Makes for a very nice walking companion.

Gigi loves to go for walks. She is not big on sniffing, just loves to walk on a leash. She too stays in step, and if I stop she will stop and sit and wait for me. -------Original Message------- From: Judy Moon <mailto:[email protected]> Date: 7/2/2012 1:01:51 PM To: Chihuahua-crossbreeds@yahoogroups. com <mailto:[email protected]> ; ChristianCanines@yahoogroups. com <mailto:[email protected]> ; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; MINICHI@yahoogroups. com <mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [Chihuahuas] Walking Nicky This was the first time I ever walked little Nicky. I adopted him on 9/17/11 while I lived in Chino Valley, AZ. My yard was so big (80 ft x 40 ft) that I never saw the need to walk him. Besides there were problems in the area with Parvo and Distemper and my vet advised no walking or going to dog parks. Nicky 10.4.11.JPGSo I fitted a harness to him and off we went. (My dogs wear collars only to show their rabies vaccinations and/or licenses). I was really surprised at how well Nicky walked along. We go for about half a mile in 30 min. along the Couer d'Alene trail. Nicky was perky, looking at everything and moving right along. I never had to correct him although we did make several stops, so he could mark this as "his" trail. It was fun for both of us.
