For the next few months, or until we know Emiliano is over his fear, the
trainer said he is not to be touched by any "stranger" or "dislliked" person.

Our Rico barks when someone comes to the door. If it is someone he does not
know he will follow them and continue to bark. He will quiet if they sit down
but as soon as they get up he starts again. He will be quiet if one of us
holds him or if I give him a kong with PB or cheese in it. Part of the problem
is that when I tell guests to ignore him they still try to make friends with
him and try to pat him! It has been frustrating. I often will just put him in
a different room. I think he needs to know that strangers mean lots of treats
but I have not gotten to that point. Our other 2 Chi's are fine and quiet down
right away and allow petting.
