Awwww, our current foster, Elmer, is pretty homely with his little tongue
sticking out due to lack of teeth. No-one wants him because he is old and
has a heart murmur and arthritic hips. I couldn't bear the thought of him
in the noisy, stinky shelter, not getting any meds for his hips or even
good food. He is SO grateful for each hug, beam of sunshine and soft
blanket. I fear he will soon be a permanent part of our pack! Bless you
for considering "ugly". He may grow into a swan with good food and love!
