Hi and Welcome to the Group!

My mini American Eskimo had wip worm very bad when I first got her. It
caused her to loose her fur by the handfuls. (she also had two other types
as well) Don't remember the med that she was on. I think it started with a
M, but Pancea doesn't sound familiar to me so I think she was on something
different. If she keeps getting sick, why not ask the Vet if she could
change the med? If I remember right you have to give the med again in two
weeks in order to kill the larvae that has matured in her system and then
that's the end of those pest. Hope she is better soon.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] panacur and side effects

hello new to group, our new to us 10 month old little guy tested positive
for whipworm, when we gave him his panacea in the morning all seemed fine,
but at about 10 pm the vomiting started. i hate that feeling of wanting to
make it all better. we called the urgent care vet and they said it was
common side effect or could be that there were a lot of worms in the tummy.
any one else have this happen with panacea?
