Sounds like Cody is already become very attached to you, having a little
separation anxiety.
I remember when I lost my little chi, "Trinket", devastating me. After
getting Gracie, the first time she slept in the bed with us, she layed in the
identical spot where Trinket had slept, I could place my hand on her, and it
felt like Trinket. It was a very comforting feeling. Since then, Gracie has
done many of the things that her Aunt Trinket had done, almost erie. Gracie
truly helped me heal, although I will never forget Trinket, still tear up after
almost 7 years since she has been gone. She was the Best Dog Ever!
I hope Cody adds comfort to you.
