Yeh, well, Humane Watch is an industry group which promotes everything from smoking to meat consumption, and whose goal is to discredit ANYTHING said or done by the HSUS or other 'movement' or consumer groups.
I may not like some things done by the HSUS, but I watch the mass seizures that go on around the country, I watch their undercover reports. No one else has the capability of going in and rescuing hundreds of 'puppy mill' dogs. (I was 'on the ground' in the aftermath of a small seizure here in OH) Sometimes they get the 'scoop' on animal abuse that others can't. The HSUS record is muddied over contributions and so forth, yes. But they do good work, also, with some of that money.
