Thanks Peggy. That makes sense. That explains why she could be itching from old flea bites. The itching is getting less often now. Maybe just give it some time. I haven't sprayed her with Vets Best Flea and Tick either for a number of days since she's on the Zodiac.
The itching is definitely due to baby fleas hatching out and then dying so Vets Best needed to be used probably once a day if I were to use that by itself. Fleas didn't start to appear until August. One thing is certain there are no more fleas on her and she isn't getting any new ones. I check her favorite pillow by the window covered with a white pillow case and no dirt or fleas just a little of her hair. I used to see a few flea dirt. So looks to be under control for fleas. I will pick up some Dawn if she doesn't stop itching all together. Thanks again.
