Peanut butter is his least favorite, however, he will eat it on a tiny piece of
bread and spit out the pill. Some times he will swallow and walk away, then
when across the room, out comes the pill. I have to watch him closely.

Try three snacks - I like using a dab of peanut butter and bread. Have all
three ready when you start. I give the dog a piece of bread (dime sized) with
the PB on it - they gulp it down. Give the dog another dime sized piece of
bread squished around the pill with a dab of peanut butter on it, followed
immediately with the third piece of just bread and PB. Mine love both so much
that all three would be swallowed before they ever had a hint of a pill being
involved.

My dogs are real smart. No matter what I wrap the pill in they still spit it
out LOL We bought a pill crusher that solved the problem

Veveeta Cheese the pill gets lost in it if they like cheese. If you have
multiple dogs it seems if they think one of the other dogs is going to get it
they are more likely to gobble it down

That's a tough one if he brings it back up. Does he have a favorite food that
he likes so much, that he just gulps it down? Could try hiding it in that. If
it is a tablet, maybe cut it up in little pieces and hide in his special food,
one piece at a time. Liverwurst, as well as American Cheese usually works
pretty good to hide a piece of it in, and roll it into a tiny ball so he can
just gulp it down.

I stopped using the flea medications that come in a tube and you break and
squeeze contents between the shoulder blades, because Emiliano had a
progressively worse reaction to them. So, now, he has to take a pill and I
have a terrible time getting him to swallow it. Tried a pill shooter, food,
pill pocket, and poking it down his throat, it usually comes back up. Any
suggestions?
